At Sixth Street Pilates we are working to reduce out environmental impact in the following ways. Please let us know if you have further suggestions or feedback.

1. We buy wind generated electricity.

2. We use compact fluorescent bulbs and low voltage halogen bulbs as much as possible.

3. We use non toxic cleaning supplies.

4. We wash mats, blankets, and equipment with non toxic, all natural cleaners like Dr Bronners peppermint soap and tea tree oil.

5. We use recycled, unbleached paper products.

6. We recycle.

7. Our studio is floored with bamboo flooring (bamboo is a sustainably harvested wood)

8. We provide high quality filtered water and compostable cups made of corn by-products, instead of selling water in plastic bottles. (we then compost the cups)

9. We actively seek out environmentally sustainably alternatives when purchasing new products.
